A Washington dispatch reports rabbits, once a pest in Australia and the U S southwest, are now a wartime revenue source and aid food supply. The British board of trade ordered 600000 crates of skinned rabbits, requiring slaughter of 2160000 animals weighing 36000000 pounds dressed.
