American troops hold the Picardy sector southwest of Didier while air superiority grows with Allied planes shooting down roughly 46 German aircraft daily since the March 21 offensive. Locre and Ypres area battles continue with French and British forces driving raids near Merville and the La Clytte area, securing prisoners and matériel.
