Armistice Terms Read as War Ends with Germany

President Wilson announced in Congress the armistice terms surrendering 140 submarines and 50 destroyers along with war material. Germany must abandon Bucharest and Brest Litovsk treaties and evacuate left bank of the Rhine within 19 days. Allied and American prisoners are to be repatriated promptly.

Berlin Unrest Report Quieted by Nightfall Cannonade Heard

Copenhagen dispatch to Exchange Telegraph reports a severe fight in Berlin between 6 and 8 pm Saturday with violent cannonade from Heclin where revolution was in full sawing. Berlin advised quelling efforts proceeded with updates received at 3 am.

Armistice Signed and Hostilities Ceased Worldwide

An official state department note announces Armistice signing at five o clock a m and hostilities to cease at ten in the morning Paris time. Details of terms are not public yet and include German demobilization and Allied occupation of strategic points in Germany. The plan aims to end fighting and release American prisoners.
