Paris June 10 German forces renewed heavy attacks on the Mont Didier Noyon front with substantial force. French and American troops in the center gained ground near Cavilly Wood and Ressy-Sur-Matz while prisoners were taken around Brossiarez on the Marne.
German forces make limited gains along the Noyon to Mont Didier arc after a major Aisne offensive, facing stern Allied resistance. Deepest penetration reported is about 2.75 miles as reserves and terrain hinder the push toward Amiens. In London, Lance Corporal J Dowling of the Connaught Rangers is revealed to be the offshore submarine survivor now held in the Tower.
