Lamontagne Farm Fire Destroys Barn and Stock in East Concord
Fire swept through the Lamontagne farm on the level road from Miles Point to East Concord, destroying most furniture and clothing and a touring car bought last summer. Lamontagne, his wife, and several small children were left with limited shelter as relatives and neighbors aided, while Mr Lamontagne’s father, Mo Rivers, is blind and frail. The incident prompted a rapid alarm and a bucket brigade. quick action prevented the loss of additional buildings.
