Pablo Salazar Dies at Tome in Diptheria Tragedy
Pablo Salazar died at Tome Valencia county Saturday afternoon from diphtheria. He had married Miss Rita Schubert less than two weeks earlier and they spent their honeymoon in the Rio Grande valley when he fell ill. Mrs Salazar is reported very ill with the same disease. Antonio Salazar, employed in Estancia, departed for the funeral after learning of his brother’s death.

A box social at Blaney School house district 14 raised funds to buy a heater. John T.
