Discharged Sailor Donald Bugbee Returns Home
Donald Bugbee, who served in the navy, was discharged at Denver and arrived home last Sunday. He was stationed at Norfolk, Virginia, until recently then joined the Pacific fleet, passing through the Panama Canal to the Pacific, ending at San Francisco.

J. W. Fouts, referee, conducted the sale of the 167 acre farm near Diller from the Jas. Packer Sr. estate. Bidding was spirited, ending with Hiram Packer, heir, purchasing the property at $125 an acre after having sold his Culbertson farm for $60 an acre.

Ralvie Luteavish, nephew of Mrs A O Richardson, arrived Thursday from Camp Merrick where he was discharged from world war service. He visits the Richardsons and Hayes and a Friday night party at the Richardson home attracts forty or fifty neighborhood youngsters for a pleasant evening.

Plymouth Considers Electric Line Extension Proposal
At a Plymouth meeting Monday night Continental Gas & Electric offered to extend its transmission line from Beatrice to Plymouth. The plan requires Plymouth residents to purchase 22000 dollars of stock in the company and promises 24 hour service. Rates would be 134c per kilowatt for the first thirty kilowatts, 10c for the next thirty, and 4c for above sixty with a power rate possibly 7c. A Thursday night follow up will consider a competing deal from a Jansen-based company sourcing from Fairbury.
