Effective October 3 the east bound day motor train will run about one hour earlier leaving Diller near 11 a m. The west bound night train Number 15 also shifts earlier. Beatrice Dunn daughter of Mr and Mrs Claude Dunn of 2029 Eighth avenue married Cpl George Worden now at Camp Carson in a simple post chapel ceremony with Chaplain Pierce officiating. Mary Nicholson Johnson Dies After Auto Crash
Mary Beatrice Nicholson Johnson born January 13 1919 in Chester Nebraska died September 14 1943 at Lincoln General Hospital at age 24. An auto accident near Daykin and Tobias on September 11 caused her death. She lived in Chester Diller Dewitt Tobias Cobias and worked in Nebraskan towns. She married Merle B Johnson on October 10 1936 and had daughter Barbara Lou. She leaves daughter Barbara Lou parents four sisters two brothers and many relatives. Pallbearers and memorial service were held in Tobias with interment at Tobias cemetery.
