Mrs. B F Lightner returned Saturday from visiting friends at Beatrice. Dr Ammerman of Reynolds consulted with Dr Bauguess in the case of Sam Gaisfora's baby. Mrs L Catlin attended the funeral of her daughter's mother in law Mrs Carey near Fairbury. Ro Smith of Wichita visited his daughter Mrs Harry Greider and family. He plans to visit his Indiana home. Post office announces rate change to 2 cents per ounce starting October 1.
