Diller Schools Set To Open Next Monday
The Diller schools will reopen next Monday. Miss Addie Miller’s school near Jansen started Monday morning. Mrs. Emma Fry recently erected a new barn north of town. A girl was born the 25th to Mr and Mrs Lon Ames six miles south of Diller. Arthur E Price and wife attended the Chautauqua in Fairbury. Fred Starr husks early corn, estimating thirty five bushels per acre. CGA Reinhart takes vacation from rural route 3 with Fred Witty substituting. Miss Alvena Steffen returns to continue studies at the business college.

Small Primary Vote in Pleasant Precinct
Only 35 votes were cast in the Pleasant precinct primary on Tuesday with 25 Republican and 10 Democratic ballots.
