Tinstman Family Keeps Traveling Home From Wis

Clint Tinstman and family with Miss Esther Gretzinger of Tobias returned home Tuesday after visiting in Diller. They came from Sheldon Wisconsin where they visited his brother W Tata and family. They found Tata’s wife much improved in Madison hospital and took her home.

Belleville Free-Fair in North Central Kansas Faces State Aid

Belleville hosts the North Central Kansas Free-Fair as the last day of the county event with exhibits, displays, talent programs, and daily horse and auto racing. Visited Diller Relatives Prior to Lincoln State Fair

John Miller of Lincoln joined nephew Scott A Méliér at his home. The Record invites readers from the Diller vicinity attending the Lincoln state fair to notify names of those they meet. Break‑in at D W Fanders Garage Reported

Thief broke into D W Fanders garage last week taking two tires some smaller items and about two to three dollars in cash. The cash register was opened and most drawers ripped through suggesting a hidden money pouch. The sheriff was notified but no arrests have been made yet.

Mr. Floyd Hughes of Steele City accompanied R. F. Starr on a three days business trip to eastern Nebraska. The pair traveled for professional reasons and returned without incident.

Girls Reserve Picnic Highlights At Sponsor's Home

The Girls Reserves gathered at Mrs. L. Geer's home on Saturday evening August 29 for a picnic supper on the lawn. Afterward they visited city hall for homemade ice cream and cake served by Congregational S S ladies, then sang G A P op songs and played games. The lawn buzzed with activity and laughter as they returned to the sponsor's home, expressing thanks and hoping to meet again soon.
