Mr and Mrs R W Green and Norma Frances visit Lincoln relatives and friends. We reluctantly publish supplements to accommodate advertisers this week. Miss Emma Glathar traveled to Orleans Nebraska on Wednesday to help care for her sister in law Mrs Elmer Glathar who has been ill for some time.
Mr and Mrs Will Amos and Howard Peters visited the station at York on Saturday and returned home with Mrs Ida Woods and granddaughter Miss Velma Amos who had visited relatives at Polk and Grand Island. Rev W R V E church at the place and son Rev Willis Velte with charges at Nemaha and Browns ville Nebr were visiting Tuesday with Diller friends Willis taking another Masonic degree that night.
Mrs. Harry Thompson is on the sick list. Corn picking has commenced in a small way with no yield estimates yet. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Henrichs and two sons visit Mrs. Wheeler, mother of Mrs. Henrichs, at St. Edwards.
Miss Grayce Myers of Falls City spent the weekend visiting friends and relatives in Diller. Mrs. Elizabeth Fouts went to Seward Nebraska to spend the winter with her son and family.

A Farmers Union notice states Nebraska lawmakers passed a bill two years ago granting license credits to truck owners. It claims ten reach owners pay eight dollars and larger trucks pay twelve dollars per year. Signatories include Frank S. Wells, N MecCord, P D Peterson, Christs, and Jeff Co. Farmer Union.
The Cedar Class of the Congregational Church enjoyed a Halloween supper at the annex Friday evening. Eldred Carpenter and family have returned from their western trip and are moving into the house recently vacated by Elias Ey. Miss Phylis Patten, a graduate nurse, arrived this week from Chicago and is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Patton.
V Raymond, recently at Phdl Diller relatives, returns to Lincoln yesterday in a new Buick sedan, accompanied by his mother and sister Flossie. The family plans to attend the teachers convention and visit relatives.
C B Ashcraft and family moved back to Beat Rice this week, returning to their property there. Locals lament the lack of a business opening in Diller, expressing that Ashcrafts are good people the community would have liked to keep.
O R Jones of Fairbury chairman of the Jefferson county Republican central committee Walter Vasey of Beatrice census supervisor and Judge F W Messmore of Beatrice were Diller visitors on Wednesday and called at the Record office.
