Protestant Orphan's Home Trustees Seek Advice on Location near Lincoln

The petition filed in district court by J. Smith Diller Lillie M. Colman and Calvin L. Waggoner asks for advice and direction in locating the Protestant Orphan's Home. The late A H Colman will provided that the home be erected near Lincoln Nebraska on about 50 acres at the edge of Diller. The trustees urge publication of the petition and may print it in full next week.

Fern Raymond Heads to Lincoln for Week with Brother

Fern Raymond the official pressman at the Record office left Sunday for Lincoln to spend a week at her brother LaForrest's home while he and Mrs. Raymond attend a Miles Medicine Co. gathering in Elkhart Indiana. The paper notes the office will miss her absence during this period.

Hunters from Diller and Steele City Pursue Wayne Pheasants

Mr and Mrs Harry Allen of Diller with Mr and Mrs Elmer Kersting and Mr and Mrs Howard Staley of Steele City left Diller last Saturday after the Allen store closed to Wayne Nebraska to shoot pheasants. There were plenty of birds and each man got his quota of four by ten o'clock Sunday forenoon. They visited along the way and returned home Sunday evening.
