Genevia Rose Frisbie and Warren Peterson wed in Lawton
Geneva Rose Frisbie daughter of Mr and Mrs Frank Frisbie Rib Lake Wisconsin and Warren A Peterson son of Mr and Mrs CE Peterson Duluth Minnesota were united in marriage at 5 30 PM September 29 in the Lutheran parsonage Lawton Oklahoma. The bride wore an aqua street dress of light wool with black accessories and was attended by Mrs Peggy Carson. The groom's attendant was Keith J Carson. After the ceremony a wedding dinner was served at the Carson home. The bride, a Rib Lake High School graduate class of 1942, also graduated from Taylor County Normal School and studied nursing at St Luke's Hospital Duluth. The groom, a Duluth High School graduate, attended Teacher's College before entering the army. They plan to live near Fort Sill Lawton Oklahoma where the groom is stationed. Geneva Rose is a granddaughter of Mr and Mrs Bert Frisbie and spent time in Diller last summer visiting relatives. Mr W G Robertson of Joslin Missouri visited Fairbury for a stay with Meredith Milne and family, with Mrs Milne, Neadete Marlene and Jimmy. He left Sunday. Friday evening Mr and Mrs Henry Giesbrecht hosted guests including Mr and Mrs Wm Beumfalk and family and Mr and Mrs Wm Wiemers and family in honor of Nancy Baumfalk Florence Giesbrecht Gene and Joan Wiemers, all five years old, with birthday cakes and gifts.
