Exile's Flight Sealed By Silent Night Rescue Message

Adele risks everything to flee with D Artigny after a perilous rooftop escape. Boisrondet lowers a rope as the couple accepts the grave choice of exile, love conquering fear and possible damnation in a shadowed, perilous escape.

Escape Over the Log Stockade in Night Pursuit

In darkness we escape the stockade edge aided by Boisrondet and D Artigny. Adele descends a rope to a river canoe hidden by De Tonty, while Iroquois scouts loom nearby and danger presses as we flee toward the water and safety.

We Meet Surprise in the Wilderness Fort Night

D Artigny and Adele explore the fort after a break in, finding no arms and evidence of a swift attack by river tribes. They suspect Illini warriors surrounding the fort and plan to follow the river to locate covert camps while weighing the peril of dawn assault and the need to warn the lads. The scene shifts to a courthouse verdict where a jury doubts a defendant’s presence but hints at possible action if given the chance.
