Crash Injures Madden Family Near Potter Neb

J N C Ladies Meet Mrs Emma Wieths October Social

The J N C group met Mrs Emma Wieths on Wednesday October 13 with twelve members and four children. The afternoon featured a piano solo by Mrs Zadie Frisbie and a Charleston by Master Vernon Hubka. A luncheon followed and the next meeting is set for Mrs Alice Hays October 27 with work.

B B Kensington met with Mrs Luther Marstell on October 13 with many members present. Mrs Clarence Renz and Mrs Claude Woods led an entertainment troop including family characters and a parodic rendition of How Do You Do. An October 26 tea at Mrs Harry Ahrends was announced, with household hints and planning for the club's anniversary in November.

Cabbage Carloads Bring Sauer Kraut To Cuba Kansas

A Cuba Kansas report notes four carloads of cabbage arriving in two weeks for local sauer kraut. Population 485 Bohemian town. Cars carried about 19 600 heads averaging just over five pounds each. Cabbage grown northeast of Denver and a fifth car is planned.
