Beatrice Nebraska hosts a cattle sale featuring purebred Shorthorn consignments. On Thursday December 11 two dozen twenty two purebred cattle and thirty two females enter the offering with a catalog available from L B Rist Beatrice Nebraska.
An overcoat was found Monday morning on the street and is to be inquired at the Record office. Local items note births, visits, travel to Beatrice to view Drake block ruins, a carload of electric light poles, and a marriage announcement for Wesley Carico and Leta Meyers.

Esquire David R. Kelley died suddenly Monday afternoon at his home. The body was found by M. Callander in the back yard after Mrs. Kelley asked him to check. He suffered heart failure after a history of heart disease. Children include daughter Jennie Millis of Council Bluffs and sons in Lincoln and McDonald. Funeral planned for today pending arrival of daughter Ollie Reitzel of Colorado. detailed obituary to follow next week.
The quarterly conference led by Rev. A. O. Hinson ordered that all entertainments not connected with the church be barred from the church. The note invites parishioners to Sunday school at 10 next Sunday and calls for participation.
The Epworth League invites members to a Sunday evening gathering at 6 20 followed by a preaching service at 7 23 36. All are urged to attend and welcomed, with the message emphasizing fellowship and ongoing welcome.
