Neighborhood notices report Hartzel purchasing a new Cadillac, Quinter-Fry delivering cattle, and various residents socializing. The Shea Gun Club hosts a blue rock match on November 24. C. L. Waggoner wins trapshooting trophies in Kansas City, setting a high two day score.
Mrs Diehl of Fairbury visited the Diehl home on Tuesday. Mrs Ben Hentrichs returned from a few days with relatives at Wymore. Mrs Dre Viere and her daughter came Monday from Superior Cree. Mr Cole for a visit with his mother Mrs Francis Starkey. Mrs H Green left yesterday for McDonald Kan to visit her parents. Mr and Mrs S D Maw and Mr and Mrs Antone Bright of Humboldt visited Saturday to Monday. Mr and Mrs John Ginthar and family Marshall London Colorado Springs was an incoming passenger on No 16 Wednesday to attend to his mother Mrs J P Bondon. Relatives in Diller received notices this week of the birth of an eight pound boy to Clyde and Mrs Clyde Zook in Lincoln. Clyde was formerly a Diller boy.
Robt Eastwood and family depart this week for Moran Kansas leaving behind Mrs Eastwood and daughter Margaret Wednesday and Robert and son yesterday with two car loads of personal effects. Eastwoods lived near Diller for years and are well respected.
On Tuesday evening November 18 the B Bo K s entertained their husbands and families at Mrs S A Woods home. Many members attended and enjoyed music then a two course tea was served. About seventy guests left late evening having spent a delightful night.
One Lutheran Sunday school opens at 10 with service at 11. Next Sunday November 23 a mission festival is planned. Forenoon services at 11 with an afternoon sermon to follow.
The church invites all town residents to Sunday school with a morning worship and an evening preaching service. The First Quarterly Conference will be held after the preaching. An evening prayer service resumes on Wednesday with the Bristial Endeaver Society meeting. Audrey Diller and other church members will coordinate and address the union service next Saturday evening.
The church invites a visiting pastor to preach Wednesday evening and urges all church chairs to unite in support. Members are asked to attend all services and consider contributing to the revival.
The notice urges readers to join the Sunday school each Sunday at 11 o clock. Benedictions will precede the discourse and attendance is requested.
