Wife Confesses to Fatal Shot.husband Buried in Kansas
The body of James Blaine Harvey, killed by his wife Emma Alice Harvey on October 5, was moved from Fairbury cemetery to Kinkaid Kansas for burial in the family plot. Emma Harvey confessed to the murder a week after his death and was sentenced to life imprisonment in the state penitentiary two days after she shot her husband.

Funeral fills Prairie Home plot with long auto procession
Rev R M Harris officiated as flowers banked the casket. Interment followed in Prairie Home cemetery with a lengthy car procession escorting relatives and friends. Out of town mourners included Mr and Mrs Chas Hesse of Gladstone and many Fairbury Lincoln and Harbine residents.
