J A Folkers announces a public sale on Thursday November 17 starting at 10 o clock. A large stock and implements will be offered with a year’s time if desired. Auctioneer J B Wright and clerk G C Blauser note the event.
Advert describes Chamberlain's Stomach and Liver Tablets as a strong yet mild purgative suitable for children. Spear Drug Co. in Ontario sells the remedy. Also reports Herman Sexel, a German farmer near Diller, suffered a broken leg after leaping from a wagon when the team started running away near Smith Diller's residence.

Mr Tiffis F Blauser of Diller and Miss Mary Eddleman of Ellis united in marriage at 7 pm Wednesday Nov 9, 1904, at Mrs E J Miller's Beatrice residence with Rev Edgar Price officiating. The couple will reside on the northwest farm near Diller where the groom recently built a new home.
The church schedules morning and evening services next Sunday with topics The Second Fentitude and Gods Fools. Bible study series run each evening except Wednesday at 2 30 pm. Monday gathering at the parsonage and Wednesday at Mrs Spene s. All are invited to attend with Bibles.
Mrs. Lois Cragg of Dorchester Mass is cited as a life saved by Dr King’s New Discovery for consumption coughs and colds. The Spear Drug Co guarantees the remedy for throat and lung diseases with prices 50c and 1.00 and a trial bottle free.

Funeral services were held at the M E church with burial at Prairie Home Cemetery.

Miss Minnie Bausch and Charles F. Smith wed at the bride’s home on November 9 1904 at 5 o clock in the evening. Rev F Mills officiated. The couple’s relatives attended a generous wedding supper.

Fifth grade making good Geography drawings. Fourth grade had an interesting deer lesson Tuesday. Curtis Gear visited Grammar room Friday afternoon. High School Roosevelt 37 defeated Parker 12 in a Tuesday election. Edward Kielsmeier attends German school part of each week. Willie Fox Kennedy and Glenn Harris back in the Primary room. First Division gave a very interesting program Friday afternoon.
