Memorial Day Services Honor Soldiers in Diller
Memorial services at the M. E. church drew a large crowd as Nickajack Post 245 G A R and W R C 60 led a procession to the service. Rev J H Westervelt praised Civil War heroes and relief corps, noting Mrs McKinley’s illness. Rain canceled cemetery observances. decorations were placed by a G A R committee.
