Mentions Neely's Pharmacy offerings, a trip to Fairbury for commencement, and local residents including Mr. Frank Thompson of Tate Nebr and Mr. Bert Gerard with birth of a girl. Also notes Henry Martin of Diller dying in Palbary from a liver tumor and G. Pickard & Son supplying pumps and brass goods.
W M Hare the Fairbury photographer will be at the gallery in Diller every Wednesday. J O Blauser sells Patton s Sun Proof Paints at 21 cents each. A D Colman the jeweler has received a large stock of watches and offers them cheap. Emil Tarnow of district No 64 was before Judge Boyle on a compulsory school charge.

Memorial services at the M. E. church drew a large crowd as Nickajack Post 245 G A R and W R C 60 led a procession to the service. Rev J H Westervelt praised Civil War heroes and relief corps, noting Mrs McKinley’s illness. Rain canceled cemetery observances. decorations were placed by a G A R committee.
The champion trotters Dr Hillcrest and Diller Chief, plus a French Percheron stallion, will stay at the farm as usual with a special price on the latter for 1807. Call to see them. Geo Morris returned Saturday from Idaho Montana Wyoming seeking a suitable sheep ranch site but will wait before starting due to prices.
Eng D R Kelley receives an invitation to the Council Bluffs High School commencement June 6. His grandson Glenn F Mills son of Mr and Mrs C A Mills will be among the graduates. Glenn spent part of Sayleah oolaniear vacation in Diller and has friends here who will extend congratulations.
The thirty sixth annual Nebraska State Holiness Association Camp Meeting will be at Epworth Lake Park Lincoln Nebraska from June 14 to 24. Managers promise the best meeting yet with Rev Joseph H Smith of California and Rev H C Morrison of Louisville Kentucky secured as leaders for the event.
The regular Sabbath services are planned for next Sunday June 2 with Sunday school at 10 AM. Preaching at 11 AM Epworth at 7 PM and evening preaching at 7 PM. A prayer meeting will be held next Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock in the Methodist church.
Bethel patrons surprised Miss Hilder by closing her school day with an ice cream and cake party on the 24th. The Bethel school board then contracted Miss Hilder for the next term, and Bethel Sunday school was started.
