Memorial Day services will take place in Diller on Decoration Day Friday May 30 at 2 p.m. in the opera house with band concert invocation recitation memorial address vocal duet and solo acts followed by a procession to Prairie Home cemetery to decorate thirty six soldiers graves. Community members are asked to bring evergreens and flowers to city hall Thursday afternoon for wreath making and all are invited to attend.

Funeral services for Jack Clancy in Beatrice
J J Clancy funeral services were held at the Catholic church in Beatrice last Thursday afternoon. A sizable attendance from Diller and vicinity attended. Mr Clancy died earlier in the week from a stroke suffered two or three weeks ago. Burial was in the cemetery at Wymore. He resided on the farm six miles northeast of Diller before moving to Beatrice. His only child Guy Clancy lives on the home place and Mrs Clancy survives him.

County Triple A Office Reports Farm Loan Parity Bill Passed
