City Hall Diller hosts an auction on May 19 1945 at 8 PM to support the 7th War Loan Bond Drive. Post Office Rules for Overseas Newspapers to Navy Personnel
Effective July 1 arrangements govern acceptance in the mail of newspapers and periodicals addressed to Navy Marine Corps and Coast Guard personnel overseas. They shall be mailed only upon written request from the addressee for new or renewed subscriptions. The Navy Department suggests sending clippings of interest in letter mail rather than full copies to conserve space.
