Death of Mrs Lula Kerr in Lincoln at age 52
Diller friends learn of Mrs Lula Kerr death at their home 945 So 27th St Lincoln after cancer of the esophagus. She was 52, survived by husband James E Kerr two daughters Viola Brust and Bernice Woolsey, both in attendance, and Mary Depue mother. Funeral held Friday at Elm Park Methodist with Rev Victor Wee officiating. Interment Wyuka Cemetery.

Two Damage Claims Filed Against Jefferson County
Byron residents August Meyer and Rose Meyer filed two damage claims with Jefferson County for injuries from an auto crash near Harbine on April 6. Miss Meyer seeks 25500 with hospital recovery for a broken pelvis and kidney injuries. Rose Meyer seeks 1184.25 as co claimant. The county did not approve the claims, which allege the accident occurred when the car left the road into a ditch at a bridge three miles from Harbine due to the bridge not being in good condition.

Junior Senior Banquet Celebrated in Butterfly Garden Setting
