Free Movies Begin May in Diller Summer Series
The town of Diller plans 20 free movies this summer starting May 20. Films may be shown in the city park or the opera house if seating planks can be arranged. E H Jordening will skip Saturday night shows but will continue Sunday night screenings. Regnier Henrichs wed in Fairbury ceremony
The May 3 wedding of Miss Cleo June Regnier of Diterard and Clarence Henrichs of Diller was held at the Grate Lutheran church in Fairbury. The event drew nearly 200 guests with lit candles, gladioli decor, and a reception in the church parlors. The couple will reside on a farm south of Diller.

Sunday service at St Pauls Lutheran Church Diller featured a processional Land of Hope and Glory and a recessional from Land of Hopes and Glory. Rev Huenke conducted scripture readings prayer sermon and sermon pastor supply Leekine Lanham and organist Faye Novotny led choir girls and hymn selections from Hansel and Gretel music by Ewayer.
