Geo Myers begins digging a cellar under a new addition to the residence he bought from Clark Brauser. Mr Harrold, new owner of the Henry Brandt farm, arrived from Bruning Nebraska with his family and household goods assisted by neighbors to move to their new home.
J A Harmon of Sizemore West Virginia reports discovering Dr Kings New Life Pills. He claims the pill never disappoints and benefits others with torpid liver and chronic constipation. Sold by Spear Deng Co for 25 cents.
The Farmers Institute at Wills adjourned Saturday afternoon naming C. T. Sears as president G. T. Reynolds as vice president D. J. Wood as secretary and Mrs Sears as treasurer The executive committee includes Fred Highland Will Summers Miss Summers and Harry McBride joins the town in new plans. Jurors for the circuit court due to convene March 19 include L R Lambert A E Price Carl Smith Winfield Ammerman Fred Jones and others from Fairbury Gazette.
Christ Kielsmeier urges farmers to bring cultivators plows and other equipment for repairs before spring. He promotes 20th century farm derricks for loading unloading lifting and butcher work and offers machine turning and repair services.
The Record and Fairbury Gazette will publish March 29 a profusely illustrated feature on Diller and its business interests. Circulation exceeds two thousand as editors tour town with T R Armstrong and local merchants respond warmly to the advertising effort. Mr and Mrs F W Frisbie and Mr Will Frisbie traveled on No 16 from the station Monday.
Reverend W. I. Brooks of the Presbyterian church in Superior Nebraska spent yesterday in Diller visiting with Reverend Westervelt and his family.
Fragmentary lines reference Trenton TI coal and Pennsylvania hard coal. President Roosevelt urged action to encourage children to play. If he had lived in an apartment house he would know they need no encouragement.

Seede Wiemers sold twenty five fat steers and twenty four fat hogs fed on his farm twenty miles west of Diller to J E Clark a rustling stock buyer for top market prices that day. Wiemers also built a large barn and made other improvements on the property.
Earl Miller son of Q C Miller who was injured by a horse near town has fully recovered except for a small scar. Max Kaden and his wife visited from Kansas and presented $25 to help pay Earl’s doctor bill, a gesture Miller initially refused but accepted.

Due to repairs the Presbyterian Church cannot hold services next Sunday. With the Methodist congregation's kindness the communion will be observed there. Mr Knauer will preach and conduct the communion in the morning. Preparatory service is omitted. attendees should prepare by prayer and the Word. Session meets Saturday afternoon at the parsonage. those wishing to unite should attend. Sabbath School invited to join. teachers to take charge of their classes.
William Habicht aged about 68 died at 4 A M Tuesday after a months long stomach trouble. Born in Germany he came to America as a youth and settled in Iowa before moving to Nebraska twenty years ago to farm near Diller. Survived by a wife and seven children in Iowa Washington and at home with two sons Ernest and Carl working in Diller. Funeral at 1 P M today from his residence and 2 P M at Upson church with burial in Upson Cemetery Rev J Stava officiating. Community extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
Arch Moreland visited Wymore on Saturday to confer with Burlington rail officials about a job. Lafe Brown shipped 88 head of fit cattle to the St Joe market, Brown and W M Riddell to accompany them. The ad notes low prices on carriages and capring wagons to clear stock with a sale running through March 20th.
Mr D N Walker editor of the Enterprise in Louiss Va. reports applying Buellens Arnica Salve to a nail wound with immediate healing and no inflammation. The salve is claimed to heal every sore burn and skin disease and is guaranteed by Spear Drug Co. 25c.
An old warning advertises Dr Shoop's Cough Cure as safe from dangerous labels. It urges mothers to demand Shoop's product, noting new national rules require poison notices on cough medicines and claiming no poisons appear on Shoop's packaging. The ad urges buyers to compare labels at Spear Drug Co.
