Dennis Barber Visits and Lions Feed Report
Dennis Barber son of Mr and Mrs Dean Barber accompanied Mr and Mrs Howard Peters of Fairbury to Grand Island on Sunday then returned with his parents to Lexington. He has been visiting relatives and friends in Diller and Fairbury the past three weeks. Women of St Pauls Lutheran church served 100 Lions club members and wives a fried chicken feed in the Diller gym. The banquet featured fried chicken angel food cake and strawberry ice cream. Mrs Mertie Dilier is visiting Omaha at her grandson Gene Henrichs home. Hap's Clock Shop offers better work at lower prices with Dale Close.

Dinner Honors Three Frisbies at Weekend Gathering
Mr. and Mrs. Bert Frisbie hosted a Sunday dinner for guests including Mr. and Mrs. Hank Frisbie of Lincoln, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Frisbie, Shirley and Dick of Beatrice, and Mr. and Mrs. Joho Greider. The meal honored Hank Frisbie and Joho Greider birthdays. Shirley, the niece, baked a three layer cake with white icing pink and yellow rose buds and candles.
