May 24 1909 meeting calls a June 22 election at the village pump shop to authorize issuing thirteen thousand dollars in five hundred dollar bearer bonds for a waterworks system. Bonds payable twenty years after date with four and a half percent interest. funds to be used for water system construction and tax levy to pay principal and interest. Ballot asks if the trustees may issue water bonds and levy taxes. three options cover water bonds and taxes with two thirds required. Notices to be published and posted at least twenty days prior.
