Parties from 14 to 75 years old in possession of good voices are urged to take part in singing for Diller on that day, notice of first practice for which will be announced as soon as music is received.

The funeral for Peter Nies of the Ellis neighborhood was held after his death from internal injuries sustained in a run away accident on the 12th inst. He was thrown against a sickle bar during the incident.
Miss Helen Bausch returns from Fairbury to take a clerk position at Loock Habicht's, after serving as stenoplayher for Boulder Creamery. Also announced are Chris Hickey and Cc S Beardsley seeking the Democratic sheriff nomination this week.
Republicans of Pleasant precinct met at Colman and Diller's lumber office to select delegates for the county convention in Fairbury tomorrow. The paper was printed before the caucus and cannot publish the delegate list.
E S Lopez, a Marilis New York carpenter, boasts his pocket box of Bucklen’s Arnica Salve cures cuts and wounds quickly. He claims it heals burns boils and skin problems and notes the product as a greatest healer. Shutt Drug Co. sells it.
Noah Handley of Endicott Nebraska searched in Beatrice for his brother Henry Handley a 45 year old farmer missing since July 6. Henry disappeared from his Sidney Nebraska home after leaving for fields wearing work clothes. Last seen in Lodgepole traced to Grand Island with no trace since. Family fears he may be demented and is from near Diller.
The Nebraska Experiment Station issued Bulletin No. 122 available free from the Agricultural Experiment Station in Lincoln. A state food inspector found merchants in Diller violating egg handling laws by possessing stale eggs and accepting payment for them, risking penalties of 500 to 400 dollars.
