D H S Class of 1945 Reunion at McNish Park

The Diller High School class of 1945 held a reunion at McNish Park in Fairbury on Sunday July 9 with a noon picnic. Attendees included Raymond Bangert Kathleen Elaine Grabowski Reynold Jurgens Robert Irene Bangert Norman Eggleston Cynthia Virginia Sandman Donald Beatrice Ella Wollenberg Louis Nider Mary Elizabeth Freitag and Shirley Garrels. A follow up reunion is planned for July 29 1961 in McNish Park.

Mrs. W C Steffensmeyer of Lincoln reports William Diehl died June 26 at his Arlington Heights home, aged 80. Survivors include sisters and two daughters in Kansas City. He was linked to Dr C C Diehl and remembered in the community.
