Nebraska grand champion boar Blue Boy known from the State Fair and the 1932 Iowa fair died January 27 from overheating at a California stock farm where he had been housed after filming with Will Rogers. Produced by Hampshire breeder Ed Renbick of Pilger, Blue Boy was later sold to a film company for the Rogers movie State Fair.
