The Diller Farmers Elevator Company held its annual meeting at the town hall last Thursday. The same directors were re elected. After the meeting the board reorganized naming the same officers: President Ben Roelfs, Vice President James Hays, Secretary Treasurer J Smaith Diller, and directors George Sasse and Frank Cully.

The Fairbury Journal listed Jefferson County residents aged 75 to 96, with 12 above 90. In Diller, 25 names were noted, including 87 year old Fred Steffen. If the paper reached nearby Gage County, Mr. Eick would rank high. Geo. Eick turned 96 on Tuesday.
