Diller Couple Wed in Beatrice Courthouse Ceremony

John Hicken and Mies Tena Albers of Diller were married Wednesday afternoon at about two o'clock by Judge Walden in his courthouse office. He officiated as the twenty five and nineteen year old couple, well known locally, began married life in Diller with Gene and Leno Hicken and Ben Albers present. They plan to settle in Diller after the ceremony.

Arrivals From Germany Reach Diller After Four Week Journey

Mrs Saemann and her five children arrived from Elderfelt and Bremen Germany to Diller. The steamer was delayed by fog and storms. One family member died after a voyage illness and was buried Thursday afternoon. Mrs Saemann, wife of Rev Seana, is among the refugees.
