Tractor accident leaves Harry Baker with mashed finger

N R C Meeting at Mineo Hickens Home

Hog bite and accidental gun death reported in local notices
Edgar Henrichs suffered a severe hand wound after a hog bite while loading a hog at the Nehawka depot. He received wound clamps and a tetanus preventive serum the same evening. Also noted is the death of Elizabeth Glathar in Diller after a long cancer illness. Funeral details are given. Milton Bures, 22, died after accidentally shooting himself with a 22 rifle on his family’s Odell property. He died at Odell hospital. this is the third child lost by the Bures in a year.

Public sale aids county mule and cow values
Sam Sieford reported a strong sale Monday with mules bringing 347 dollars for a span, a three year old mule at 116, and cows selling for 60 to 70 dollars each. Sieford planned to move to a new farm near Diller soon.

County road mass meeting committee details in Fairbury
