Frank Fasnacht lists bills for a farm sale on January 11. Mr. Chas Fisher suffers a severe ptomaine poisoning attack. Dr Mayborn and family spent Christmas with Lincoln relatives. Thorobred Buff Orpington cockerels for sale. Rolf Beckmann moved to town last week. Osceola visitors include Callander and Dr Cecil Ellis family.
L. R. Mayborn and his family from Beatrice were Christmas dinner guests at the A. Mayborn home in Diller last Sunday.
Miss Lucile Packer a Lewiston schoolteacher is spending her Christmas vacation at the home of her parents Mr and Mrs Hiram Packer.
Mr. and Mrs. Will Egger, after spending Christmas with sister Mrs. Frank Grabber and brothers Will Frank and Oscar Amos, returned to their Lincoln home Monday with their families.
The Steele City choir of 22 voices will perform the Christmas Cantata King All-Glorious Sunday evening at 8:00 at the Federated Church. The program invites the community to attend and join in the event.

Mr. and Mrs. Volney Raymond and daughter Donna Jane spent Christmas with Carrie Green and Isabella Raymond families and returned Sunday evening to their Lincoln home.
Heirs of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. Beckwith estate sell 240 acre farm four miles south of Diller to Wm. Le for 21700 dollars. Land split values pasture about 50 dollars per acre and cultivated about 110 dollars per acre. Sale negotiated by A. W. Koch of Odell.
State Engineer R L Cochran will speak at the Chamber of Commerce luncheon at the Mary Etta hotel in Fairbury on Tuesday at noon. Diller residents are invited to attend to discuss Nebraska road issues. Luncheon is served at 12 10 for 60 cents. Please notify to estimate attendee numbers.
The Green family held its annual reunion on Christmas Day with Santa arriving at six in the morning. Guests received many nice gifts and a delicious one o'clock dinner was served at Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Green's home. The evening was spent with family in Green.
Mr and Mrs Clarence Steffen and son from Mankato Kansas visited their parents F V Owes and W H Ine. Edna Smith of Fairbury and Mrs E E Swanson of Ax Tell were Thursday dinner guests of Dr Diehl. Phyllie Patton, after Christmas with parents Harry and Mrs Patton, returns to Beatrice for nurse training. E R Henrichs and family from Fairbury spent Christmas with Meta Henrichs and with E L Loock family.
Mrs Ray Colman and daughter Maxine of Lincoln travel from Arapaho to Diller to visit her mother Mrs Sarah Witty and sister Mrs R W Green. Frank Tucker a Denver teacher visits his mother Mrs Kate Tucker in Diller and plans to see Lincoln relatives before returning.
Mr and Mrs Will Egger of Lincoln and Mr and Mrs Frank Amos and family of Ellis hosted a Christmas dinner Monday at the home of Mr and Mrs Will Amos for several relatives including Mr and Mrs Oscar Amos Mr and Mrs Frank Grabber and Mrs Ida Woods.
Mr. LaForrest Raymond and his son Robert traveled to Hebron on Friday and were accompanied to Diller by his sister in law Mrs. Ralph Stone and daughter Barbara who returned that evening to Lincoln.
