Prison officials host Christmas dinner with 865 inmates

War den and Mrs Dan Kavanaugh dined with prisoners at Nebraska penitentiary in the prison dining hall Tuesday noon. The menu centered on roast pork and proper trimmings. It marked the first such event at the institution.

Christmas Club Party Benefits From Gift Exchange

Mrs C H Cully hosted a Wednesday afternoon Christmas club gathering on December 19 with members exchanging gifts and Bingo as the highlight. Mrs Harry Thompson won first prize and Mrs Clarence Steffenson also placed. Guests included Mesdames Bert Bell Scott Miller Harry Thompson Frank Johnson Willis Clark and Grace Fasnacht. Refreshments were served by the hostess and Mrs Moser. Mrs Quinter Fry invited the group to meet again in January.

Piano students hosted a Christmas Musicale at teacher Mildred Mayborns home on December 22, 1984. Betty Grabber earned the highest grades through 1938 and Gayle Cully was noted for missing only one lesson. Laugh-a-Lot Club Hosts December Gathering at Mason Home
