LaVern Pickard relocates his family from the J.T. Henricha residence into four rear rooms of Mrs. Kurtz home on Pearce Street while two front rooms remain for other occupants.
Superintendent Sinkey and Mrs. Sinkey will visit Hartington and Martinsburg Nebraska to stay with relatives. Coach Ludington and wife plan to visit Neb City area. Mr. McCreight stays in Fairbury and visits Lincoln. Mrs. Schindler visits Omaha. Miss Weidauer returns to Merrill Iowa. Mr. Kelly visits Lincoln and Scotia. Miss Hamel stays Tecumseh with brief time in Tecumseh, and Miss Raymond remains in Diller.
Attendance dipped from normal as school activities kept people away but a good show still drew interest. Free tickets honored the longest married couple, Mr. and Mrs. Carico with over 50 years, followed by Mr. and Mrs. Grone at 47.

The Diller High Juniors presented the annual Go Stow Mary comedy drama to a well filled opera house audience. Sponsors Mr McCreight and Mr Kelley led the production with smooth pacing and evident enjoyment from cast and crowd.

Henry Weers died December 19 1936 at age 80 years 11 months in Diller Nebraska. He was born in Ostfriesland Germany December 24 1855 and immigrated to the United States in 1882. He leaves his wife Lizzie four sons and a step daughter with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Congregational Church with burial at Prairie Home Cemetery. Relatives attended from nearby communities and towns.
