Winter Weather Brings Snow and Cold to Local Area

Residents endured a first winter spell with snow driven by a strong northwest wind. Snowfall was light but drifting. Temperatures dropped to zero by Wednesday morning and 14 below by Thursday morning. Winds eased as a warming trend began afterward.
