Mr and Mrs Rex Green motored to Lincoln Tuesday. Doris Beckwith works in Clark s store during the Christmas rush. Everett Clark and the Thompsons attended the football game at Fairbury. Mrs Eugene Diller returned home from Fairbury. Jefferson county has 34 students at the state university. Fairbury leads with 21 enrollments. The Diller community rejoiced over a long needed rain last Friday aiding wheat fields.

The Womans Club of Diller will meet December 13 at 8 P M at Mrs O J Mayborn home replacing Mrs Helen Loock. Mrs W A Schindler will lead. Members warned of the change in meeting home. Harry Abrends shipped 29 head of cattle to Kansas City Sunday in the largest single shipment from the area in some time. The herd rode as a carload with Roy Roelf driving the cattle truck and Abrends aboard.
