Mrs Strocky Breaks Arm After Ice Fall
Mrs Mary Strocky over 80 broke the right arm above the elbow when she slipped on ice while fetching rainwater. Wife of former Diller pastor killed in Lincoln highway crash
Mrs. Erla Hadsell, 52, of 2619 North Fifteenth street Nebraska, wife of Rev. W L Hadsell, former pastor of the Diller Methodist church, died after being crushed between cars on federal highway No. 6 ten miles west of Lincoln. She had been moved to St Elizabeth hospital where she died Monday morning. The five-car crash occurred during sleet and icy pavement on a severe driving day.

Mrs Willems Undergoes Cataract Operation at Hastings
Mrs Mary Willems daughter of Mrs Scott Miller and her companion Mrs Christie Seaman went to Dr Foote s Memorial hospital Hastings Nebr last Sunday for cataract removal from the left eye. The operation Tuesday morning used local anaesthetic and lasted about fifteen minutes with no blood shed. The outcome will be known after bandages are removed in about two weeks. Mrs Willems has been gradually losing sight in both eyes and is now nearly blind.
