Death of Chas. Andrews Prominent Steele City Farmer
Charles E. Andrews a leading Jefferson County citizen died suddenly last Saturday at age 72. A well known landowner near Steele City he was an esteemed farmer and stockman. Funeral services were held at his home and Presbyterian church with Rev Knauer of Seward officiating. Interment followed in Steele City cemetery. He was father of S R Andrews.

Six year old Lynn Arthur, son of Mr and Mrs Harry Thompson, visited his grandparents Mr and Mrs William Glathar last Sunday. He fell from a horse while riding and broke both bones just above the left wrist, making a sad occasion for the boy and family.
