Statement of business for the B and M railroad at Diller shows total receipts of 1 210 267 pounds from ten principal points. Miscellaneous merchandise increased by 76 278 pounds over last year. Freight charges collected amount to 14 670 44 dollars, up 2 229 dollars from the previous year.

Riley Clem, a Rock Creek farmer, was knocked down in his pasture last Saturday evening by a vicious bull. He suffered a broken rib and other ribs were rushed. The bull had no horns. Clem escaped through a nearby fence assisted by his loyal dog which drew attention and allowed him to crawl away.
