Annual Band Festival at Fairbury Draws Ten Bands
Ten bands will take part in the fall band festival at Fairbury on Sunday August 24 if plans hold. Eight bands are from county seats in surrounding counties Jefferson counties Hebron Geneva Wilber Beatrice and Fairbury Nebraska Belleville Washington and Marysville Kansas. Two nearby bands Diller and Plymouth also participate. Each band performs in concert in the afternoon with a 150 voice chorus joining the massed program in the evening.
