The Plymouth village board votes to gravel five blocks of the main street and install curb and gutter on three blocks. Two drinking fountains are also planned for the project.

Grone Family Returns From Western Trip

Mr and Mrs Arthur Grone and daughter Violet returned Friday from a visit through Wyoming Colorado Kansas and Nebraska to see relatives and friends. They cut the trip short due to hot dry weather and did not plan further travel.

Dr. S. B. Viers and Mayor S. C. Moser visited the county seat Monday. Ed McCune oversaw picnic bill distribution at Fairbury. A 70 acre Frank Roseman Jr wheat field yielded 80 bushels per acre. Arthur J. Floyd, piano tuner, will be in Diller soon. Large turnout from Diller area attended the Odell community picnic and dance Tuesday. Evelyn of menos Ott attending at Mrs. W. I. Filley’s home.

Funeral for Frank Cole Held in Fairbury

Frank Cole born February 24 1877 in Cass County Nebraska died at 49 in Fairbury Jefferson County after moving there in 1888. He married Danny Barber in 1899 and had three children Mrs Earl Stull Mrs Sam Stull and Russell Cale. He left parents Mr and Mrs Joe Cale of Wymore.

Mica Viola Ernst of Kenesaw Nebraska wed in Hastings Nebraska on Saturday July 1 1926 at 4 PM at the home of Mr and Mrs Henry Gearhardt with the Rev Buckner of the three Christian Church officiating. The bride is a Fairbury city teacher and the groom works in the Fairbury Light and Water Department. They will reside at 1122 Sixth Street Fairbury after a brief honeymoon.
