Clark E Miller Passes After Brain Tumor Surgery
Clark E Miller former Diller boy and brother of Scott A Miller died Friday July 27 at Baylor Sanitorium Dallas after a weeks long illness following brain tumor surgery on July 20 by a renowned Italian surgeon. He was 31. His wife and son Dick traveled with his body to Fairbury where funeral services were held Tuesday at the Fairbury Christian church. Interment followed beside his mother in Chiller Prairie Home cemetery. An obituary will appear next week.

Mr and Mrs Orval Wiemers and Corolin Wiemers return from the Chicago Fair Milwaukee and Detroit trips. In Milwaukee they purchase a model A Four International ton truck with Fruekauf refrigerator trailer for long distance hauling. From Detroit a load of US tires is obtained for Omaha delivery before heading to St Louis for beer bound for Fairbury Distributing Co.

Odell area surveyors mapped a road from a point one mile west of Lanham to highway No. 3 S five miles west of Odell. The plan calls for grading graveling and new bridges with work to begin soon.
