Mrs. Nora Spindler, confined after leg amputation, was helped downstairs to a neighbor’s home Saturday as fire gutted the second floor attic in her West Main Street residence. Firemen confined blaze to the upstairs rooms. damage estimated at 800 to 1000 dollars, furniture uninsured.
