Well Known Dalton Citizen Dies Suddenly

Albert E. Dague, 62, longtime Dalton resident, died suddenly at his Schultz avenue home Sunday afternoon after a nap. He worked at Lintern meat market and attended U P church services earlier. Survived by wife four children and one sister. funeral at United Presbyterian church conducted by Rev. Shear and Rev. Hubbell.

Girl Struck by Truck Injured on Way Home

Margaret Mumaw seven year old daughter of Mr and Mrs W A Mumaw was struck by a truck Tuesday evening while returning from school at the square. She received a small cut to the back of her head and was treated by Dr Purdy.

Orrville Fair Guests Band Oyster Supper at Wertz Hall

From the Gazette 25 years ago the Orrville Fair hosts the first oyster supper of the season at Wertz Hall on Saturday the 5th. The town notes the masons work on the reservoir and the Dalton Roller Mill pays 60 cents a bushel for wheat. The band serenaded Mr. W C Cook before his trip to Columbus. Burglars blew the safe at M S Card store and West Lebanon post office, taking about 150 dollars in cash and stamps.
