On June 2 the Rural Delivery routes will reduce from four to three. Route 3 needs reassignment with Elmer Iseh moving to Marshallville after nine years as carrier. Frank Steiner gains most of Route 3 while Harry Sting adds portions of Route 1. Six miles of eastern Route 1 will shift to Route 2 under J. C. McAdams. A temporary fourth carrier will operate December to April, maintaining current territories otherwise.
Mrs. Orena Belle Nussbaum 60 wife of Fred Nussbaum of near town died Thursday noon from heart trouble. Survived by husband, son Charles, daughters Ethel and Etelka. Funeral Sunday afternoon from Methodist church with Rev. Elliott officiating. Interment Apple Creek cemetery.
Mrs. Joseph Wenger 80 died last Friday at her son Sam's home near Dalton. Survived by three sons and three daughters including Martin Samuel and Emanuel Wenger plus Nancy Bru bak er Mary Martin and Emma Hatfield. Funeral was held Sunday at Martin Mennonite church with interment in nearby cemetery.

Married to Wm Hostetter March 18 1875 Rev Becker. Survived by sister Susan Tachantz brother Samuel Blosser. Interred in Sugar Creek township areas.
The Ladies of the U P Church announce a pastry sale featuring mics cakes cookies and dressed chicken. Proceeds support church activities at Lawrence’s Paint Shop on Saturday May 31 with sale items and baking.
Henry I Vaughn of Wadsworth received 5 to 20 years in the Ohio State penitentiary after a Medina common pleas court conviction for second degree murder in the March 26 shooting of Chas Dawson 25 of Rittman. Clarence Tedrow, also of Rittman, was fatally struck by a stray bullet.
Mrs J B Gregory of this place was surprised at her daughter Mrs H G Schaller’s home 450 West Market St Orrville on Tuesday evening. Present were Mr and Mrs Levi Rowland and son Mr and Mrs Maynard Miers and daughter Mr and Mrs Garfield First and Mr and Mrs W C Derrall of Wooster Miss Myrtle Gregory and Mr and Mrs J B Gregory of Dalton. Mrs Gregory received many useful gifts.
I thank all who sent cards letters flowers potted plants and good things to eat while in the hospital and since my return home. Mrs. Harry Stinson.
City mayor warns residents that barking dogs and free range chickens are destroying gardens and flowers and must be kept at all times or arrests will follow.
Two new fire sirens have been mounted on the roof of town hall. They will be tested Thursday evening May 29 at 8 00 o clock as part of a citywide safety program.
