Former Dalton Resident Frederick Schultz Dies at 77
Frederick Schultz born in Leitershausen Germany died in Massillon Ohio after a pneumonia battle. He lived in Dalton for twenty years where he led the painting department at his brother Martin Schultz's carriage works, later moved to Springfield to work at Champion Harvester, and then to Massillon with his daughter Mrs Lena Sieberg. Funeral services were held in Massillon and Dalton with Masonic pallbearers and clergy from the First Reformed and Presbyterian churches.

A group of youths met at Shares Horst’s pleasant home last Sunday evening for singing spirituals and social time. They praised Mr Horst as a royal entertainer and left with hearty thanks.
