John M Anderson Dies at 77 After Stroke
John M Anderson longtime local resident died at his home last Saturday May 15 after a stroke. He was 77 years 6 months 9 days and left a widow a daughter Mrs Eli Mock of East Greenville a son Harvey W of Massillon a sister Mrs Jennie Dalziell four grandchildren five great grandchildren a stepson and a stepdaughter. A Civil War veteran he served in Company E 169th O V I. Funeral services were held at his residence Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev R E Conrad assisted by Rev Adams of Akron. Interment in Sixteen cemetery.
